This DRL control unit for the control of the daytime running lights allows the correct functioning of the LED daytime running lights which are now compulsory in most vehicles on the road.

In addition, the DRL regulates the temporary switching off of the daytime running lights on the side where the turn signal is active, in order to improve visibility and road safety.

So, if during the day the device turns off the daylight on the side where the turn signal is working, at night, it saves energy by turning off the daytime running lights when it detects that the low beams are on.
