The LED Light Link is a device that facilitates the conversion and synchronisation of a circuit made up of new LED indicators, regardless of the electronics on board.
This device is the ideal solution when facing the problem of converting from a traditional 21W direction circuit to a new one that uses LED technology with the impossibility of replacing the flashing light on board or simply not knowing if this electronic part complies with the requirements for regulation 13207-1.
More emblematically, when it is necessary to add to the vehicle, for example, a trailer with LED indicators, but unfortunately you do not known exactly whether the on-board flashing light (or the CPU) complies with the standards that regulate diagnostics in LED technology: the LED Light Link thus makes the trailer – or simply the vehicle’s direction circuit that uses LED turn signals – effectively universal so that it can be coupled to any tractor regardless of the electronics on board.
It is simply necessary to install one LED Light Link per side for each pair of LED turn signals.
If the LED turn signal is working (with power greater than 1W) a temporary resistor will light up. In addition, in the event that the LED turn signal breaks down (with power less than 1W), the resistor turns off, thus activating the fault signal to the flashing light on-board or to any CPU.
The device integrates the system for the detection of trailers connected to tractors equipped with ECU according to the recent ISO 13207-1 standard.
